The Latinx Alumni Network (LAN) connects Latinx Alumni in an effort to help increase the recruitment, retention and engagement of future students. Open to the NC State community the following are goals LAN has established for the affinity group:
- Promote a positive image of the university in the surrounding Latinx community and among our alumni.
- Promote programs to recruit and retain Latinx students at NC State.
- Sponsor and coordinate activities that support the academic and professional development of alumni, students, faculty, and staff.
- Provide opportunities to promote friendships and networking among alumni through engagement experiences.
New Board Members will serve a two-year term beginning on July 1, 2026, and ending on June 30, 2028.

Latinx Alumni Network Board Positions and Descriptions
One important expectation for newly selected board members is participation in the NC State Alumni Association Volunteer Leadership Conference taking place April 24–25. This conference provides valuable opportunities for training, collaboration with other alumni leaders, and deeper connection to the university’s mission
