Proud to be part of the Pack? Join the Wolfpack Champions and help drive support for NC State by rallying donors during key fundraising moments throughout the year.
Commitment: Support 2-3 major fundraising campaigns annually
What You'll Do:
As a fundraising ambassador, you'll generate excitement and inspire giving by personally connecting with friends, classmates, colleagues, and fellow alumni. Whether it's Day of Giving or a student support campaign, your outreach helps build momentum and make a difference.
You don't need fundraising experience, just Pack pride and a willingness to ask others to give.
Responsibilities:
- Spread the word about key fundraising efforts (e.g., Day of Giving, year-end drives, special campaigns).
- Personally contact 10-20 people per campaign by email, text, social media or phone - whatever works best for you.
- Share why you give and invite others to join you.
- Use toolkits, templates, and talking points provided to make your outreach simple and meaningful.
- Optionally, post on social media or join in challenge activities
What We're Looking For:
- Passion for NC State and a desire to support its mission.
- Willingness to reach out to peers a few times each year.
- Comfort using common communication tools like email, social media, and messaging apps.
